About Port Talbot WI...

Port Talbot WI was formed in 1979 and at that time there were 20 members, our membership has risen to 75.  For two consecutive years Port Talbot WI won the Wales Recruitment Award for the highest increase in membership.

We meet on the 3rd Monday of every month at Carmel Chapel Vestry, Port Talbot, the meetings begin at 7pm.  The main part of the meeting is a talk or demonstration preceded by WI business.  Any interesting information on visits, events, activities etc., together with lists on which to add your name. are placed on a table in the hall.  Tea, coffee and biscuits are served at the end of each meeting, accompanied by lively chatter.
